October 2016

Happy October!

Brooks is napping about 70% of the time these days.  The other 30% of the time he works on his gymnastic skills.

Todd and I celebrated our 6 year anniversary!

We put the kids to bed and went out for dinner at Langdon's.

Hurricane Matthew blew into town so we took a road trip to VA to get out of the craziness.

First time at ChuckECheese!

Granddad came down to visit too and we hit all the Roanoke hotspots, including the Mill Mntn Star.

Poor Brooks got carsick on the way home and peed his pants :( It was a rough 9 hours.

Car trips are bulldozer! (He pronounces bulldozer like bull-sider)

Digging digging all the time. He keeps begging me for a "big box of sand"

He started swim lessons and did really well!

Beautiful October beach day.

Of course we had to make a race track

The train table has now turned into a car table...

Todd and I were hippies for Halloween this year. Easiest costume ever.

We went to Myrtle Beach for our friend Tim's wedding and got to see Chad and Maria.

First time carving pumpkins for izzy and a lightning mcqueen pumpkin for B

Izzy's first Hibachi experience...she was none too thrilled with the fire.

Ready for trick or treating!

So much fun!B really got into trick or treating this year which made the whole thing way more fun for us.

Izzy 8 Months!

First pumpkin carving this month!

And First Halloween!!

She is really starting to enjoy feeding herself.

ALMOST there...

Oops...someone is getting a little more mobile and grabbed my coffee cup off the table...

Trouble!

Izzy 7 Months

This sweet girl is 7 months old! She is doing a lot of sitting up and playing with toys, but she is still stationary right now which I am completely fine with :)

Her first Redskins game!

Trying on some winter clothes

Playdates at the park

Basically I just take a picture overtime she is in a new cute outfit

She showed off a lot of Halloween gear this month

Mary Kay's Aunt DeeDee sent this beautiful quilt.

I got brave and took the kids to the beach one warm day. She loved it!

We went to Dad's Halloween party and showed off the strawberry costume.
