16 Months!

Month 16 was a busy one getting settled into the new house and trying to get everything unpacked and put away and finish up a few projects we had started.  We also had a lot of fun and a lot of visitors!

We are working on our motor skills at the playground!

Dad went to CA for a week for work and Mom put together this water table all by herself.

We went on our first boat ride of the season!

We have been working on our baby signs and Brooks is doing a lot more talking.

Celebrated Cinco de Mayo with some chips and dip.

Went in for 16 mo checkup and everything was great!

B had a waterfront dinner over at our neighbor's house with some new friends.

We went to a great Mother's Day brunch at Indaco.

Ninny came to visit and found some creative ways to keep Brooks occupied ;)

He LOVES playing outside now that we have more space.

We celebrated Memorial Day with everyone and we were able to put up my Dad's flag that he got when he retired from the army.

15 Months!

At 15 months B has been really busy!  We moved into the new house which he has loved exploring.  He has transitioned really well.  

Yes, this is as scary as it looks.

We celebrated Dad's birthday at Granny and Poppy's house!

I sent this to Todd...he was mad I wouldn't let him hold the pen. At 15 months we have also entered the tantrum phase.

His new favorite hobby is destroying the house.

Nana came to visit and helped us set up a playroom and brought this kitchen set which he loves!

and she also accompanied us on our first visit to the ER :(  B had a 105 fever and it turned out to be just some virus thank goodness but it was really scary!

The North Pole

We had so much fun on our trip to the North Pole!  We took a ton of pictures so I am going to try to recap that way....

we arrived at Kiitala airport after a miserable 28 hours of travel...and it was cold!

we had to get brooks some better winter gear when we arrived so we got him this pair of gloves which he was not really a huge fan of in the beginning

we stayed with todds dad and his aunt beth and uncle peter and their kids which was really fun.

Sorry this post is kind of all over the place but I am trying to get caught up from a couple of months of backlog stuff.  With moving and everything it has been crazy.  But we had such a great time and Finland is really amazing.  I will try to come back and add some of Todd's pics later!

So if you use google + to store your photos and videos it just creates these for you sometimes...
