Whew! Going back to get pics for this post and I am exhausted just looking at them. We managed to pack a whole lot of summer fun into this month...

We may or may not have started watching a little TV around here...mickey mouse clubhouse is a big hit and a nice 20-25 minutes of SITTING STILL for mom ;)
We signed B up for a little mom's morning out program for next year, 2 days a week so of course Nana had to get him this cute little mono book bag. #monoallthethingsplease
My sis and B's 3 cousins came to visit for the week of the 4th and we had so much fun!
Our neighborhood has a parade on the 4th
followed by a pool party
he had his first popsicle!
we also took a few boat rides
and made it to all you can eat crab legs at reds!

Jam packed...at 18 months Brooks is really doing a lot of talking and he definitely has his own opinion about things! He is napping 2ish hours in the afternoons and still sleeping 8 to 8 pretty consistently. He has gotten a little more picky with eating, but still loves dipping and avocados!

He is really into music now and when we get in the car he will say "Soooooong!" like he does at the beginning of this video. This is currently his fav song.
He can do a few inset puzzles...
And this is him "reading" what is currently his fav book "Tip Tip Dig Dig". I swear right before I got out the camera he flipped through and literally "read" the entire thing...then I got the camera out and tried to do it again and this was the best I could get, but you get the idea!
