This was a great September! We started off the month with a stay-cation out on Folly Beach. Brooks spent his first night in a big boy bed! He did really well the whole week.

Nana came to the beach with us and brought Brooks a helmet and a new balance bike!
Such a fun trip!
Once we got home, Brooks started school. He is going Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesdays we have been going to the library and checking out books. He loves it!
I took this picture to show Todd. They ask that you send in extra clothes to school for when the kids have accidents. Unfortunately it took me a few times to realize that they don't change the entire outfit, just whatever part is wet. So a couple of days I picked him up looking hilarious-like this cute little shirt and some VT basketball shorts.
We went to a local place called Vintage Coffee and they have this fun truck slide so the kids can play while you eat.
This was following another playdate at the pool where Brooks almost drowned TWICE. That night he was coughing a lot and acting funny so I took him to urgent care and they did an x-ray to make sure he hadn't swallowed any water. He will definitely think twice before walking into the water without his float on again!
I spent a lot of time this month going through both kids wardrobes and getting rid of stuff that is too small and getting ready for fall. This is Izzy trying on her winter coat. I pulled out all of Brooks' stuff from last year and nothing fits anymore!
We have been going to the park in our neighborhood after nap time and meeting our neighbors there. It is so nice to have friends right down the street! Kate and Izzy are only 3 weeks apart and Brooks and Walker are in the same class at school.
